From Childhood Moments to Generational Legacy

The story behind this session is one that truly encapsulates what Christopher Michael Photo is all about—building lasting relationships and honoring the milestones that shape a family’s legacy.

I first met Alex when he was just 8 years old. He was a neighborhood kid who joined in on some of the children’s stock photo shoots I used to do for Getty Images. Back then, I had no idea how deeply our paths would remain connected. Fast-forward two decades, and Alex reached out to ask if I would photograph one of the biggest moments of his life—his wedding. I was honored to say yes, and that led to even more.

We started with their engagement portraits, followed by documenting their wedding day, and now, I’ve had the privilege of photographing this intimate maternity session as he and Katherine prepare to welcome their first child. And this won’t be the end—we’re already talking about infant portraits, family sessions, and even dreaming ahead to a multi-generational portrait as their family grows.

This type of long-term connection is what inspires my work at Christopher Michael Photo. It’s not just about one event—it’s about walking alongside families through the seasons of their lives, from childhood to parenthood and beyond. These aren’t just clients—they become part of the story I’m honored to tell through my lens.
